E X P E R I E N C E : RP in general, since 1999. Journal based, since 2005. I started out on AOL in chats, IMs, and message boards. I spent many years there before taking a break. After my break, I did some IM-based PSL with a friend, then eventually joined the RP world on greatestjournal. I dabbled a bit in livejournal RPGs, but GJ was my primary RP home from summer '05 until late '07, when the journal-RP world was fractured by GJ's decline, at which point I moved to IJ. P R E F E R E N C E : Canon-based or AU Harry Potter; MWPP-era or post-war trio-era, but will give epilogue-era or Riddle-era a try occasionally; original games with some kind of unique thing about them.

L I K E S : Characters with little canon attached; original characters; females, though I do occasionally play males; three-dimensional characters; realistic playing out of relationships; generally nice or good-aligned characters; characters who stretch or break stereotypes; "broken" characters.

N O L I K E Y : Smut games; plain old high school games; genderswap games; celebrity games; cardboard characters; ZOMG EVIL I EAT BABIES FOR BREAKFAST characters.

F A V O R I T E C H A R A C T E R S : With regards to canon characters in the HP fandom, my two absolute favorites are Marlene McKinnon and Alice Longbottom. I play both as Gryffindors, though the year they're in varies. However, I mostly play original characters or parents of trio-era kids, or other characters with little canon attached.

W H A T ' S H E R E ? Just about anything and everything related to my characters. Occasionally I'll be tagged for a meme about me, which I'll go ahead and do here, but I try to keep my own personal life separate and posted on my friends-locked livejournal, except in cases where my RL will be affecting my RP world. Occasionally I'll post snippets from chats or conversations.
