yay!
So, because Wolfie is evil, I checked out her game, and I put a hold on Alice (future Longbottom) because if there's one (or ... two) thing(s) I can't resist with regards to a MWPP-era game, it's Alice (the other's Marly, but she was already held). And then somebody challenged the hold, which made me spaz a little because I was like "OMG NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooo" because I hate being challenged because then I worry about what if the challenger gets her? I'd die. But that kinda lit a fire under me to finish up Alice's app and get it in first, because I am nothing if not a competitive little bitch. xD But then again, it was Alice, who I have played three times previously, and writing for her is insanely easy, so doing the application for her was nothing with a side of cake. And then I found out today that I WON I got her. :D Which made me happy.

I got her journal all set up (and the layout is pink, because Alice's layout is always pink, no matter what I do with her layout, it's pink, it's always pink), and I just finished uploading the icons, and lemme tells ya. It's kinda weird to have Alice all set up but with a different face. I'm using Olivia Thirlby for her, and I've used Rachel McAdams for all three previous times, so it's just ... different. But Olivia's cute and actually kind of resembles Rachel a little bit, and she has that whole ":D HAPPY!" vibe that Alice has, so ... I'm happy with her. It's just a little jolt to be looking at Alice's journal and have her default icon not be Rachel.


I was also horribly amused when, for a while, the only journal that had friended Alice's (other'n ... Alice and the mod journal, lol) was Rodolphus Lestrange. xD OMG FOREBODING. HE WANTS TO BE HER FRIEND. RUN AWAY ALICE, RUN AWAY.




Also, fyi (and I'll be posting about this in EL and ACSH's ooc comms tomorrow morning), I'm gonna be gone this weekend. At some point tomorrow, I'm not sure when, the dudes and I are heading up to Dallas for A-Kon, and we'll be back at some point on Sunday. I'm bringing my laptop, since I'm going to be working on homework in the car, but I don't know what internet's gonna be like at the hotel, and I'm not exactly planning on sitting around on the computer this weekend, so don't expect me until Sunday. e-mail's the best way to catch me, because I'll be most definitely checking that first thing on Sunday when I get home.
