a bit of tl;dr and a wish list
Firstly, I really should either be on the treadmill or already back. >> I turn my computer on to quickly post the tag I tried to post last night when IJ went down, and suddenly I get distracted and now it's nearly an hour after I'd meant to go hop on the treadmill, lol.

ANYWAY. Having had to log into sixdegreesrpg for said tag, of course I checked the flist and had a couple comments to toss in for Alicia, which got me noticing something interesting about her, so tl;dr time!

So, I brought Alicia into the game with the history that she has Bad Taste In Men. She basically has this long string behind her of Jerk Exes ("jerk" is not the word I generally use to describe them, but it's still Lent for a couple more days, so I can't use the other word again yet) who basically, for the most part, love her then break her heart and dump her. I think Andrew's the only one that she actively dumped. As of Valentine's Day, she hadn't had a date since her last Jerk Ex up and left on New Year's Day with her good spatula (seriously) and her pillows. While she was still passed out.

And this is her "usual type."

And then George went all secret-admirer-y on her for Valentine's Day, and they've been dating pretty much since then, but I've just realized today that Alicia is wary of using the actual words for that: "boyfriend" and "girlfriend." She already had a minor spaz-attack when George warded her a few days ago, asking if she had plans for Easter because Mrs Weasley had invited all the kids "and partners" to Easter dinner. So she felt bad for saying that she has, y'know, traditions with her own family to spend Easter dinner together, but at the same time, she was a little relieved to already have family-type plans.

Because, well. George has been one of her BEST FRIENDS FOREVER since they were eleven. Almost 17 years of friendship. And she kinda had a crush on him in sixth year and wanted to ask him to the Yule Ball (or for him to ask her), but then he asked Katie instead. (GASP) And, well. Now they're dating. And Alicia is KINDA FREAKING OUT ABOUT IT, OKAY? Because, well. She knows her type. She knows that she goes for the jerks, and that even the guys who seem like they're Nice Guys at first inevitably end up being jerks.

So she's kinda REALLY AFRAID to acknowledge the boyfriend/girlfriend thing, or the "Weasleys and future Weasleys partners" thing, because she's actually seriously worried that somehow, dating her will turn George into a jerk. And she would really hate to lose George's friendship if he ended up turning into a Jerk Ex.

She'll probably spaz to her girlfriends soon about "OMG GUYSSSSSSSSSSS D: WHAT IF I TURN HIM INTO A JERK?"



... it's kinda nice to be sorta-torturing someone at that game other than Sally for a change. xD Sally's actually really happy right now, so I'm letting her be for a while.



AND SEMI-RELATEDLY: a wish list, characters I reallllllllly want people to bring to sixdegreesrpg (sixdegreesmod):

SALLY PERKS (perkypics) would really like:

• The rest of Hufflepuff 98. So far, it's her, Hannah Abbott Hopkins, and Wayne Hopkins. (Hannah and Wayne just got married a couple weeks ago!) SUSAN BONES! JUSTIN FINCH-FLETCHLEY! MEGAN JONES! ERNIE MACMILLAN! ZACHARIAS SMITH! WHERE YOU AT?! (Esp Justin, Ernie, and Zach, Wayne could use some more testosterone in his life ...)
  
• ELIZABETH PERKS, her little sister. They're the only two girls in their family, with four brothers. Lizzie is 19, a Hufflepuff from the class of 2005. There's three other characters currently in the game from that year (Quinn Abercrombie, Alfie Cattermole, and Regan Wood), so she'd have yearmates to socialize with! Sally's said that Lizzie was thinking about going into Healer training, but if you REALLY want to do something different, that's fine! And I think that Saoirse Ronan could be a good PB for her ...

ALICIA SPINNET (spins_it) would really like:

• ANGELINA JOHNSON! The rest of the Gryffindor Quidditch Dream Team is in the game (Oliver, George, Alicia, Katie, Harry), where are you?! We must reunite the Chasers Of Awesomeness And Win! Oliver, Alicia, and Katie all play professionally, so you could do the same or do something completely different! It's up to you! But you would definitely be much-loved!
  
• LEE JORDAN! More Gryffindors of 96, please! Also, George would love his BFF, I'm sure, and Katie would love to have the guy she's had a long-time crush on!
  
• GWENOG JONES! Captain of and beater for her team, the Holyhead Harpies. There's been some unrest of late, and they could definitely use their Captain to keep them all in line. Plus, the Harpies were league champs last season and they're pitifully ranked at NINTH right now. GWENOG, COME WHIP YOUR GIRLS INTO SHAPE.
  
• And the Harpies could be the first team in the game to have all players represented if we got a KEEPER. She and Gwen are the only two missing! I feel like I should mention here the naughty calendar that the Harpies girls put out for 2006.

LISA TURPIN (pinturn) would really like:

• The rest of Ravenclaw 1998! So far, there's her, Kevin Entwhistle, Morag MacDougal Inglebee (who also just got married!), and Padma Patil. TERRY BOOT! MANDY BROCKLEHURST! MICHAEL CORNER! STEPHEN CORNFOOT! ANTHONY GOLDESTEIN! SU LI! Where y'all at?! I'm sure Kevin would appreciate having more of his boys around! And of course the girls would love their former roomies around, too!

HUGH BRADLEY (hugh_manatee ... say it out loud) would really like:

• FANS. He's a voice actor on a sudsy WWN serial drama, and he would LOVE to have women in the game who recognize his name and swoon. Because he is an attention whore.
  
• The Canon Ravenclaws of 1997: EDDIE CARMICHAEL, CHO CHANG, & MARIETTA EDGECOMBE! Come join Hugh, Marcus Belby, Felicity Eastchurch, Hemani Patil, and Charlotte Spinks!

And in general, not specific to my characters:

• BILL & PERCY WEASLEY! The rest of your brothers and your sister are around! And on top of that, both Ron and Ginny are engaged (to Hermione and Harry, respectively)!
  
• DEAN THOMAS! The rest of your roomies are around, and two of them are engaged! WHERE THE HECK ARE YOU?
  
• ANDROMEDA TONKS! Your sister, brother-in-law, and nephew are all around. Narcissa is interested in repairing bridges: are you?
  
• ANYONE LISTED HERE!
