blah blah
I feel like some tl;dr brain-vomit on the current state of the characters. xD
Juliet Jewkes is FREAKING OUT RIGHT NOW, okay? She's scared to death of everything going on, both the stuff that's been happening at school all year so far and all the stuff happening outside of school, too. She doesn't want to stay home, but she doesn't want to go back to school, either. But at the same time, she sort of needs to see her friends again. Milly and Natalie and Janine. Even though seeing Laura's empty bed is going to kill her. She really wants to just throw herself into classes and clubs when she gets back. She's going to go out for a major role in the musical, because she hopes if she gets something big, she'll be able to concentrate on that and forget about everything else and won't have time to worry about her loved ones. Especially Milly who might single-handedly give Jules a heart attack over the next few months if she doesn't rein in her anger. :( Like, Jules gets Milly's anger, but she can't believe she (Milly) would want to attract the attention of the Carrows like that.
Geoffrey Hooper really wants in on the resistance or the DA or something because he needs to feel like he's doing something productive (and also wants to know WTF is going on) or he's going to do something really stupid. idek what, he's not even being specific in my mind. Probably start off by smart-mouthing the Carrows or blatantly disobeying the rules or something. Which undoubtedly would lose him his badge, and I know he really doesn't want that so I'm trying to rein him in but he's on edge. Right now, he doesn't care about punishments, unless the Carrows decide to punish one of his younger siblings or Vicky in place of him (though with his relationship with her being so new and not-so-public, hopefully the Carrows wouldn't think to hurt her to get at him if he does something stupid ... hi modlies). And also, even though he's still saying he wants to be an Auror, he sort of mentally adds in an "unless the Ministry stays the way it is" because he wants to be an Auror like the kind he always grew up idolizing, not the kind now, bugging common rooms and stuff and working for the DEs. So he's still working towards it in the vain hopes that things will be better by the time he finishes school, but he's also flailing because this is all he's ever wanted to do, and if the Ministry is still DE-controlled, what the hell is he going to do when he finishes school?
Terry Boot is too brand-spanking (mmm, spanking) new to brain-vomit on right now.
Sally Perks has just had her second one-night-stand with Oliver (and is kind of wondering what you call a one-night-stand when it happens more than once and is more than just "one night" each time and you're sort-of starting to think "hey, this bloke's pretty awesome" and stuff). And then tomorrow (... today?) she's going to meet his daughter and STUFF WILL GO BAD because his daughter is his life and she is going to FREAK OUT when she sees this adorable little toddler and she won't be able to tell him WHY his daughter freaks her out because she's trying very hard to forget that The Incident ever occurred. (She got pregnant a couple years ago and miscarried. So seeing Oliver's daughter is kind of like seeing what she could have had but lost. Hence the freak out.)
And my DMR characters are still on hiatus, so. Yeah.
AND ALSO. TO GIVE THIS POST STUFF TO NOT-SKIP, a meme stolen from
moonshoes:
Give me one of my characters and one of yours and, despite how ridiculous the pairing might be, I will tell you five facts and provide a potential PB for one of their children! If it's a non-canon pairing, I might even tell you how the child came to be.
