Okay, if yesterday was hard, today is impossible. I mean, I think I could very easily pull up the past character directory of every single one of y'all (or those of you who have one, anyway) and just go though and be all "OMG I LOVED THAT CHARACTER" at least a dozen times over. Or pull up the character list of any of my past games (if it's still up) and go through and name at least half the cast (if not more) as characters I ♥-ed. So to pick just one, even with the possibility of runners-up, feels like I'm saying that I didn't absolutely love the rest of y'all's amazing characters, or that I didn't love everyone else's as much, because that is completely not the case. I mean, if your character has been listed alongside one of mine for anything in the past 21 meme-days (and that includes the link to the favorite-ship picspam I left in the "runners-up" part of that day), then I really loved your character because otherwise, I wouldn't have included them, right? Right. So I'm going to preface this by saying that although the two characters (yes, two, you'll see why) I picked are a couple of my favorites of the bajillion wonderful amazing awesome characters y'all have created, please know that I love each and every one of your bajillion wonderful amazing awesome characters. ![]() Lisa Turpin & Seamus Finnigan as created by Jamie and Kate; pictured as played in Euphoria Lane (ty to Jamie for helping find good pictures) Okay, trufax time: I really really love Jamie & Kate's portrayals of Lisa and Seamus. I really wished, back in EL, that I'd had characters who were BFFs with one or both of them, so I could get in on the awesomeness that was the Turpin-Finnigans. And, really, I just loved reading their logs and comment wars and things of the like. I love that they're both very well-rounded and flawed characters and you can really see how much thought they've both (Jamie & Kate) put into their portrayals. And I've been in several other games with them where they've played Lisa and Seamus (most recently in WAH, where they're dating), and I really love seeing how different-yet-the-same they are in each game. Trufax: sometimes I forget that Lisa/Seamus aren't canon. If I ever decided to mod an epilogue-era game, you can probably bet good money that there'll be Lisa/Seamus progeny in there. |
