This is tough. I mean, partly because some of my favorite threads I just plain can't link to because they're on GJ. Threads such as ... pretty much anything with Dimmy & Kenny, or the epic threads that Maxi and I wrote with Dorcas and Sean. But I have just had so many fun threads and logs that it's really hard to just think of one. So, instead, I'm going to link to some of my favorites that are here on IJ (since, obv, I can't link to any of the GJ ones).

Ritchie calming Keira down (Euphoria Lane). Keira was rejected (again) from the Auror programme, and came home in a rotten mood. Ritchie managed to keep her from completely exploding. And it's just so cute. Keira wanted so badly to stay angry, because she could deal a lot better with the anger than the sadness. And also: "And Pussycat? You overreact plenty. I say that out of love."

Marly and Ro passing notes in Potions (Mad World). This was just a hilarious thread. Those two were wacky BFFs, and this series of passed notes is just so. freaking. adorable.

Annalise and Regan playing with baby Oliver (Mad World). BFFs FTW. Playing with ickle baby Ollie and Lise telling Regan that she thinks she might be preggers with ickle baby Cedric. "Right, well, want to hear something incredibly far-fetched and hilarious?" "Wait, let me guess. You and Amos have decided to quit your jobs and travel across Europe as a folk music duo." (Truth: I think that should happen for reals xD)

John and Ellie running into each other in the hall (The Professors' Lounge). Ellie has SUCH A CRUSH on him, trufax. And this log is just full of awkwardness on her part, because she's all "OMG, HAS CRUSH" and he's entirely and completely oblivious.

Alice and Frank in the hospital (Find the Horcruxes). Alice had ~big news~ to tell Frank, and then he went and got himself hurt and put in the hospital. And she pretty much had to spell it out for him, because he had the stupid: "I'm just so relieved you're okay. I don't want our baby to grow up not knowing their daddy." "I'm not going anywhere. You and any children we might have someday are going to be stuck with me." "What do you think of the end of July? A little boy or a little girl, all our own?" She squeezed his hand. "I'm pregnant, Frank. About seven weeks along." "Really? You're actually pregnant?" It was enough for him to sit up a bit more, cringing just a bit before he recovered and the smile came right back and he repeated, "Really?" SO CUTE. I loved them.

Caoimhe and Doyle after the full moon (Find the Horcruxes). This log always makes me sad, every time I read it. It's the twins following Doyle's first full moon. Kee was always the quiet-and-don't-talk-about-it one, and the fact that Doyle's taking that role just threw both of them for a loop. Poor Doyle, I just wanted to hug him. And Kee, too.

Guy's death (Find the Horcruxes; heavy violence warning). As I'm going through and grabbing all these links, I've been re-reading the logs. But for now, I'm skipping in re-reading this one, because I was literally crying through a good portion of writing this log, and I really don't want to cry again right now, and I know that re-reading it will make me cry. Yeah, Guy pissed off absolutely everything with his "reporting," but he didn't deserve this. :(

Marly and Ro and a new puppy (Find the Horcruxes). Harkening back to a lighter day, way back at the beginning of the game. Before the world went to hell in a handbasket. Before Marly went insane. When stupid disagreements could be solved by bringing a puppy home.

Persephone's death (Find the Horcruxes; grossness warning). Yeah, yeah, it's a narrative and not a log or thread, but it was still fun. Okay, so. I killed another character. But unlike Guy's death, I didn't cry the whole time I was writing this one. Okay, I might've actually giggled a bit. Seph went out in, uh, style? And I just giggle every time I read this line: "She didn't care that she was getting bits of her mother in her hair." Yeah, ew.

Michael coming clean to Isobel about his secret (Hogwars). Thanks to a prank that made people say everything that came to mind, Michael couldn't keep his secret any longer, and though he tried avoiding everyone, Isobel found him and he ended up spilling the whole truth about how his dad beat him. It was such a sad (and very brief) thread. :(

Mary and Chase talking and fighting (Dark Mark Rising). Chase finally discovers that something's really wrong with Mary ... partly because she is really not the type to yell, and yet she was yelling at him. They both got upset and Chase ended up punching Remus in the face. xD



Anyway. Those are just some of the logs and threads (and a narrative) I've done in the past few years, since moving to IJ. Ones that were fun or sad or just ... awesome.
