Eric Hawthorne & Virginia Westin
This was both really hard and really easy. I did a picspam a while back on top 5 (or so) ships, and I was thinking that there was no way I could take that top 5 and just pick one. But in the end, I picked a ship that didn't even make it on that list. Eric and Ginny aren't on that list at all, not even under honorable mentions. I don't know why I excluded them. Maybe because they only existed in a PSL between me and someone who is no longer a friend (though our other ship did make the top 5). But Eric and Ginny ... they are something of a golden standard to which I hold all other ships lately. It was my first real RP ship, for one thing. And their relationship was so full of ups and downs and drama and they really went through hell ... but in the end, they didn't actually end up together. They have a daughter together, but they live halfway across the world from each other (Eric in Europe, Ginny in San Francisco). Which might be the other reason they weren't included, because their relationship fell apart. They still love each other, but they just ... can't put everything aside and bring themselves back together.

Alice Longbottom & Dorcas Meadowes
From find_the_mod, my Alice Longbottom and Khushi's Dorcas Meadowes. I blame Khushi, because I think she was the first one to take their friendship and turn it into a crackship via fic.
