30 Days of RP: Days 2 & 3
See? I told y'all I might do multiples in one day. Okay, really, I just wanted the excuse to look at pretty pictures. Both of this post's Favorites might come as something of a surprise, because I don't qualify "favorite" necessarily as "used the most" because, quite simply, I try to avoid reusing PBs except for playing the same character again. Which ... kind of sucks, because sometimes I'll have only briefly played a character, or I just really want to use their PB again.
 John Cusack Words simply can not describe how very very much I love this man. Seriously, I have several of his movies capped and, once I have time, I fully intend to icon the living daylights out of this man. I used him as a PB once, and I would absolutely love to break my don't-reuse-PBs guideline and reuse him somewhere, but it would have to be the absolutely perfect character. But. Anyway. I just love him SO VERY MUCH.  Sean Faris: Good lord is this guy hot. I'd very much break my don't-reuse guideline for him, too. Colin Firth: Like John, words simply cannot describe how much I love this man. Now that I have A Single Man on DVD, I want to cap that (and also Pride & Prejudice and Love Actually) and icon it, and procure his other movies and cap & icon them, as well.  Taylor Swift Hey, I said that favorite-ness isn't linked to frequency / length of play, right? I only briefly used Taylor as a PB, but I absolutely love her. And I covet her hair. And I deliberately made the character I used her for a guitar player, so that I could have an excuse to use icons of Taylor with her guitar. She also has just the most amazing facial expressions. And after having watched Valentine's Day ... I just really want to icon her in that movie and use her as a PB again, because she was just SO ADORABLE.  Emily Browning: She's just so darned adorable! And she has a really good variety of facial expressions, too. Kari Byron: I really don't care that her available pictures are pretty much limited to low-quality caps from MythBusters and the occasional photoshoot or behind-the-scenes pictures. I FREAKING LOVE HER. Blake Lively: Although I don't think I could use her again without associating her with Sally-Anne, I do love Blake. I love how absolutely tall she is, and how goofy she can be. I'm not so much a fan of her when she's all Serena Van Der Woodsen, but to each their own. I prefer the goofy Blake to the glam one. Rachel McAdams: I don't think I could reuse her without thinking of Alice, but I just love brunette Rachel soooooooo much. I associate blonde Rachel with Mean Girls too much, but I just love her when she's a brunette, and I just desperately want to icon her in absolutely everything (every movie, every photoshoot, every appearance, EVERYTHING) she has pictures available of as a brunette. Amber Tamblyn: Same as the above two, she's just Marlene to me. But I love how ... natural she is. Her smile isn't perfect, but she's just ... so awesome. One day, my icon journal will be flooded with icons of her from caps from Joan of Arcadia, followed by icons of her from various movies. I just love her so. |
